The midnight bloom, the stories that Clary and Jace share, and the kiss are all things that have to be perfectly executed. For the main characters, this is a critical moment that affects the plot moving forward. Need I say more? This scene is the moment everyone waits for between Jace and Clary and it has to be perfect.
